SEXpectanciesTM Workshop

This one hour workshop addresses the facets of sexual terrorism (forms of sexual assault) within our culture.

 

The SEXpectanciesTM  workshop examines media, language and behaviors that contribute to sexual abuses  perpetuated in our lives.

Through the use of film, role plays, and a variety of experiential exercises, and personal stories, participants learn : 

    -How past experiences contribute to gendered politics 

    -How to utilize their personal experiences as healing tools in a
      relationship 

    -To develop inquires in dialogue instead of assumptive conversation 

    -The art of engagement in conversations: how  texting and online social
      networks affect us

     -How to de-escalate sexual confrontation
